Directions to the Ski Haus

From New York City/Westchester/New Jersey

• From New York , take the Major Deegan which becomes I-87 North,
• OR take the GWB to the Palisades Parkway North to I-87 North.
• From New Jersey , take the Garden State Parkway North to Route 17 North to I-97 North,
• OR take I-287 North to I-87 North.
• Take I-87 (NY State Thruway) North for 115 miles to Albany .
• In Albany , take Exit 24 and go through tollbooths. Stay on I-87 North toward Montreal .
• Take I-87 (Northway) North for 50 miles to Exit 20 for Fort Ann/Whitehall, Route 149.
• Left at traffic light at end of exit ramp, then
• Right at next traffic light (3/4 of a mile) onto Route 149 East.
• Take Route 149 East for 10 miles into Fort Ann and
• Turn Left at traffic light in Fort Ann onto Route 4 North and/or East.
• Follow Route 4 for 10 miles into Whitehall .
• Turn Right at traffic light in Whitehall to continue on Route 4.
• Take Route 4 for 20 miles to Rutland , Vermont intersection with Route 7 (highway ends at a stoplight).
• At intersection, make left and continue on Route 4 and 7 through Rutland .
• At split of Route 4 and 7, make right at traffic light (just past Grand Union Food Store on right.)
• Stay on Route 4 for 10 miles to Killington Road – about 2 miles past Pico Mountain.
• Make a Right onto Killington Road , then follow directions "From the Bottom of Killington Road"

From New York City/Westchester/Connecticut

• From New York City , take I-95 North to I-91 North,
• OR take I-684 North to I-84 East to I-91 North.
• From Westchester/Connecticut, take Merritt Parkway North which turns into Wilbur Cross Parkway North (Route 15 North for both),
• OR take I-287 East to I-95 North to I-91 North, OR take I-684 North to I-84 East to I-91 North.
• Take Interstate 91 North to Exit 6, US-5 to Rockingham/Rutland and VT-103 West.
• Follow VT-103 North/West for 23 miles to VT-100 North, about 1 mile past the town of Ludlow
• Turn Right and take VT-100 North for 22 miles to Route 4 West. Turn Left on Route 4 West.
• Follow Route 4 to left to Killington Road, turn Left, then follow directions "From the Bottom of Killington Road"

From the Bottom of Killington Road

• Pass the Grist Mill (left), Pickle Barrel (left), and Sushi Yoshi (left)
• Make Left on Dean Hill Road (across from Casey’s Caboose (right)).
• Make immediate Right onto Roaring Brook Road .
• Make first Left onto Telefon Trail.
• Take third Right onto Wobbly Lane .
• Follow to the very end. Before the last house take the driveway to the right of the house. It slopes up through some trees to the Ski Haus!
• There are 2-3 parking spaces in front of the house, and plenty of spaces to the side. Please do not block the garage or the cars behind the house. Enter through the front, not the rear – that’s a separate apartment!

SPEED TRAPS are usually located:

• On the New York State Thruway (Interstate 87) in both directions south of Albany near Exit 21.
• In Wilton , NY area on the Northway (Interstate 87) in both directions between mile markers 25 to 38.
• On Route 4 between Fort Ann and Whitehall
• On Route 4 between in Rutland and Killington especially in Rutland between the Grand Union and Home Depot.
• On Route 103 especially in Ludlow .
• On Killington Road near the bottom and near the firehouse, about mid-way up the road.
